Virajpet Callin...

Virajpet my native place positioned in the heartland of Coorgs coffee gardens is the second largest town of the district ….donno for quite sometime i feel like goin to my native….a place where my mum dad grew up….being attached to that place rite from start…the Ganpati devastan[temple], the clock tower, the bus stand, the church school….its just soo nice.

A 2 ½ hr drive from Mysore..that is if you have your own vehicle….:-P other wise it takes around 4 hrs..for people who are tired of the jostle and commotion of Mumbai or for that matter ne metro cities it a place where you can truly unwind….

Normally use to go der every summer break till 9th std…use to be fun spending time with all my relatives in a huge house…a typical small town which wakes up as late as 11am and sleeps as early as 7:30 pm…

A walk down from our house to the clock tower use to be fun.. trees all around, vehicles passing by…small kids playin in the fileds…

It use to be real fun coz even in the month of may it use to rain der and rain very profoundly.. I and my cousins use to always sit on the gate and guess the names of the buses which use to pass by…..it use to be fun…then there use to be a session of pluckin guavas from the trees everyday….bloody ants to to bite us still we had that kida in us to pluck the fruits…. Then there use to be the neighbors dogs….we
use to go to the balcony and use to throw things towards the dogs and play with them….

We use to be amused coz we could see so many jack fruits lying down on the road and no body bothered to pick it up and take it…. Though we never had one me and my bro use to quietly go and pick 1 or 2 and bring it home hehe…

A week at my native use to be a nice way to relax and be ready to get back to the fast life of Mumbai
