Remember this

An old lady sits on her front porch, rocking away the last days of her long life, when all of a sudden, a fairy godmother appears and informs her that she will be granted three wishes.

''Well, now,'' says the old lady, ''I guess I would like to be really rich.'' *** POOF *** Her rocking chair turns to solid gold.

''And, gee, I guess I wouldn't mind being a young, beautiful princess.'' *** POOF *** She turns into a beautiful young woman.

''Your third wish?'' asks the fairy godmother. Just then the old woman's cat wanders across the porch in front of them. ''Ooh - can you change him into a handsome prince?'' she asks. *** POOF *** There before her stands a young man more handsome than anyone could possibly imagine.

She stares at him, smitten. With a smile that makes her knees weak, he saunters across the porch and whispers in her ear, ''Bet you're sorry you had me neutered.''

Being happy

Relationships are really tricky.Human nature which keeps on changing from time to time makes it more difficult to predict a person behavior.
In this world where relationships plays a very important role, we just keep on trying to keep the relation healthy. We buy gifts,go out of the way to do something just to bring make the other person happy. Some how i feel we as human being have become really selfish and also we have started expecting a lot from people whom we know.

Many time i have seen people giving importance to others only if that other person has done something "tangible" as in something which is visible. And we always over look things which we feel are not so important.

I am writing this today as a small incident happened some days back in the class which really made my day.A really good friend of mine passed me on a smiley.Nothin much it was a small smiley drawn on a papers.[attached above]

Call me kiddo but somehow felt really good I immediately kept in inside my wallet.Iam a person who gives more importance to these small things than others.

It is very important for us to understand that in today jet life we we overlook such small things and then miss out a chance to be happy. If we start nothing such small things we will see that through out all the while we will come across such small instances which will make us happy.
How many times have we heard people saying that" there is no reason to be happy"
I feel bad for them for the fact that these are the same people who dont look at small small things which brings happiness.
Its just that we need to look at the larger picture and njoy life.

Cheers people
Hope this post does bring difference in some people's life

Son of a Bitch

A little boy was doing his math's homework.

He said to himself,
"Two plus five, the son of a bitch is seven.
Three plus six, the son of a bitch is nine..."

His mother heard what he was saying and gasped, "What are you doing?"
The little boy answered, "I'm doing my math's homework, Mom."
"And this is how your teacher taught you to do it?" the mother asked.
"Yes," he answered.

Infuriated, the mother asked the teacher the next day, "What are you
Teaching my son in maths?"
The teacher replied, "Right now, we are learning addition."
The mother asked, "And are you teaching them to say two plus two, the son
of a bitch is four?"

After the teacher stopped laughing, she answered, "What I taught them was, two plus two, THE SUM OF WHICH, is four

A day of reasons...

We human being are really funny, our mind plays a very imp role in the way we behave..today a similar thing happened i dint want to do something and some how i could collect loads of reasons to support my decision.

Sitting for "Labour Welfare" lecture is boring in the first place, and it becomes a daunting task specially when you have 2 back to back lectures ,that to from a Prof who is  3 times your age.

Now its true I wont mind having lec from a prof who is cute and funny  and yes the main criteria prof should be of a opposite gender :-P...ya ya i know  that it is every guys WISH,but who would blame us.. for me it was the finance and the HRP lec which was the best.

There was one clear reason for attending that lectures..well  yes i guess 2 reasons [don't get any naughty thought people!!!! it was the fact that both the profs who thought that subjects were cute and they had good knowledge about the subject]

So back to yesterday We had to attend a lecture for Labour Welfare. Now I don't wanna sound rude but the prof just kept on rambling on and on and on.for a moment I was asking myself WTF is goin on.
Ne ways to add more oil to the fire the prof left us late.

So I had made up my mind that I wont be attending today's lec.Right from yday nite i started coming up with reasons to support my decision.
Some of the reasons were
- He leaves late
- what would happens if I miss one LEC
- It was just the start of the sem

Then to add to that one more reason. my mum said to me"if you aren't feeling well dont go for the lec and take rest [OK i wasn't acting but i was  actually down with severe cold]"

It was really funny coz there have been so many instances that I have tried and justified my decision sometimes a did stick to my it sometimes not.
But today I went for that lec yes the catch here was i went late so that i wouldn't have to suffer for a long time :-)

Walk on the moon

On July 20, 1969, as commander of the Apollo 11 lunar module, Neil Armstrong was the first person to set foot on the moon.

His first words after stepping on the moon, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind," were televised to earth and heard by millions.

But just before he reentered the lander, he made the enigmatic remark "Good Luck, Mr. Gorsky."

Many people at NASA though it was a casual remark concerning some rival soviet cosmonaut.

However, upon checking, there was no Gorsky in either the Russian or American space programs.

Over the years many people questioned Armstrong as to what the "Good Luck, Mr. Gorsky" statement meant, but Armstrong always just smiled.

On July 5, 1995, in Tampa Bay, Florida, while answering questions following a speech, a reporter brought up the 26-year-old question to Armstrong. This time he finally responded.

Mr. Gorsky had died, so Neil Armstrong felt he could answer the question.

In 1938 when he was a kid in a small midwest town, he was playing baseball with a friend in the backyard.

His friend hit the ball, which landed in his neighbor's yard by the bedroom windows.

His neighbors were Mr. and Mrs. Gorsky.

As he leaned down to pick up the ball, young Armstrong heard Mrs. Gorsky shouting at Mr. Gorsky.

"Sex! You want sex?! You'll get sex when the kid next door walks on the moon!"

Bitter end

Ok I know I had said that I will be back only on 3rd  dec after exams....but you know how this blog bug works...bloody..just could control myself  from not logging in here...U understand rite :-P

"True friendship is like sound health, the value of it is seldom known until it is lost
"- Charles Caleb Colton

Friends they are the one with whom you share things, fight with them, pull their leg,,,plan your vacation and do many more things...but the  most important thing you feel secure when you are along with them...

When It came to me I have had a bunch of friends from different part of my life...and luckily i have got some friend who are the best thing happened to me.
But there are some friends with whom things have changed...though the fact that i have shared some of the best memories with them..

Recently i spoke to a person who happened to be very close to me at one time [who am i kidding for years we knew each other]...but that person is no more in same terms with me..Ne ways it was start of this year that things went wrong and we stopped talkin to each other...

Now I am a person who doesn't  give up on my friends very easily[people who know me know this fact],But still there was a point when i thought that there was no sense carrying forward that friendship...I hated to do that more coz the she knew that it was her fault coz of which we were in that situation..

Ne ways when things went bitter...i wanted that the person should suffer to hell....

So there i was talkin to that person last month and I could understand from the her sounds that things were not that good.I did try asking her as to wat had happened.
Some how i thought getting to know that thing wer'nt good at her end would make me feel good..But No it dint happen..
Some how it felt weird I knew.felt sorry for her..coz i knew that there was no one to stand by her during  this period..

I kept on telling myself that I should be happy, but i just could feel that way...thats when I realised yes things did go wrong..but I dint want her to suffer...may be coz i cherished the memories and that weighted more that the thought of some one suffering..

I remember that day coz  i prayed to god  for that friends happiness...

Last post

Exams the so called dreaded word that every student hates to hear...remember the time when u must have heard people saying
the famous F word...similarly des days people forbid saying the E word..

When it comes to studies and exams we came up with all kinda excuse for not studying....
When I entered this class i though now that we have grown up and in a position where we are supposed to me responsible for our actions..We will never give reasons for not studying and not shy away from books..But some how i guess I was  wrong..The
nearer the exams came the more reasons we came up with for not studying.Just today I was sitting in the library i saw the bunch of my class mates going through a n nos of books..i was wondering...what in the hell made them go though so many books..
I could see the tension mounting and with each passing day people became more serious about exams...

As for me I was in the same boat as they were even i was going through the same tension the same amount of anxiety...only
difference that may be is I knew this wont be the last exams that I will be giving[3 more sem to go for my masters] and it wont be the last time i would be taking a book in my hand to study.

Any ways this though made the picture pretty clear in front of me...Hope fully as last time , this time too my efforts  would pay out rich dividend..
So this will be my last post for this month...will be back in actions after dec 3..thats my last day of exams..

:-)
