Not every road that we take, ends up at home

Not every road that we take, ends up at home ...Some how found a lot of meaning in this particular sentence...recently was reading some thing and i found that the author says this at the end of his write up...

I felt the author linked house to happiness and road to the things we choose, the path that we take..
Its just that I felt that the author wanted to say that not every decision that we make in life ends on a happier note..
We say that some times we are guided by our instincts...but not every think that we do based on our instinct end up giving good results..
Was really not sure about posting this. As I wasn't sure if everyone would see the same meaning as I did...asked some people but some replies..
.when i asked Swetzzz what she understood when i say" Not every road that we take ,ends up at home"
Her reply was typical of her..."yea true it mite end up at the neighbors door also..." she went on ahead telling well avi in UR case.."It mite also end up in the neighbors bedroom" grrrr [ok don't get funny idea…she said that as I am a very lazy person who likes to sleep a lot]

I found myself thinking too much over a certain given sentence...But though what the heck lets just post it and see what people think about it.

Some how I felt the main reason we as human being get affected to things which do not happen in our favor is that fact that we pin up our hopes so much on a particular thing so high that we are not ready to face the other side of it. And that is when we go back into our burrow and hide from world after the failure...

I feel it's that when we do something we should be prepared for both +ve and -ve outcomes. Only then we would be in a better position to tackle things...

But being prepared for the –ve doesn't not mean we should be totally pessimistic about it.

Ne ways do lemme know your thoughts toooooo :-)

Na Na.. I didn't mean you are Lazy.. I literally meant "In your case, all roads end up in ur neighbor's bedroom" :P one more thing to add... "irrespective of your neighbor being a male or a female" :P

Well on a serious note, Life is like a coin. When you toss it, you are not sure which side you'll get. If you want Heads and you get it, simply thank god for being lucky. But if you get tails instead of Head, just toss the coin again...:) The probability of you getting a Head in the next 5-6 toss is pretty high!
Just Embrace life as it comes! :)

HEheh i just remembered one incident of friends where phoebe questions Joey's manhood...
Joey promptly replies...havent you seen my collection of PORN,later he wears a women's underwear and comes to phoebe and says"how much of a man am I now"

ne ways yes its true Life is like a coin we should embrace which ever side we get..nly then we would be happy

Yes Rakesh.....not all roads we take, end up at the destination we need to arrive at. I have always believed that while the destination is important, also equally important is the manner of travel! Perhaps the different roads that we take leave us with rich experience to enrich our lives!

Rudyard kipling once said "If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same." Maybe traversing through different paths will mould the human mind, spirit and intellect to be better systems!

On a lighter note......I almost died laughing after having read Shwetz's comment "I literally meant "In your case, all roads end up in ur neighbor's bedroom" :P one more thing to add... "irrespective of your neighbor being a male or a female"
Whoaaaaaaaaa!!!!!! Now thats something I certainly dont wanna comment on ;)

btw.....check out the update on my blog!

By ‘home’ I dare say he means ‘familiarity’ or ‘harmony’ with or own self and desires.
However, its our decision to make every path lead us to home.

Instincts invlove the influence of emotions and hence may not always result in the right(generally easier) decision.
But if emotions are encouraging us in this path(which would be the path of our instincts), then our chances of ‘home’ are certainly elated.

However, I myself provide the counter argument to this and say that ‘emotions’ are often fickle, so let us best limit them to art not science(not in the literal sense, by science i mean any decision which requires logic)

Hey Rakesh:

I read it as you, given the extent of it available to analyse on context. If you gave the coverage of the book, may be I could make an independent reading

I would say -- every desire we cherish and follow may not end up good for us, may not be our destiny..Happiness depends on moral fibre..anywhere you are. Home or neighbour's home :-))

hey before reading wht it meant from ur perspective i had something else in mind. u spoke really well.. i was so high on tht.

wht i thot was.. home is our comfortable zone.. home>>peace>>trustworthy people>> comfort.. but at times in the long journey of life u have to leave home.. which means being away from peace>>trustworthy people>> comfort. other part of world except home may not me like how it felt being home.

and ya we can trust our instinct always. but at times when we not sure of things i think its better to trust our instinct it does magic..

well I bet u already got the right interpretation of the statement. .

But here is mine , Not every path you take leads to home , You gotto take the right path , However u could take the path to the ice cream parlor and then take the path home , or you could end up taking the completely wrong path and end up circling your office over and over again , Circling your office wouldn't be all that fun!

So , Not every path you take leads to home . And not every sentence I say needs to make sense ! I bet the above para dint make any (sense)

An interesting discussion is worth comment. I do think that you should
publish more on this subject matter, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people
don't speak about such issues. To the next! Kind regards!!
